personal statement
As a high school technology education teacher at Central High School, my mission is to empower students with practical skills, confidence, and a sense of purpose through hands-on learning and industry certifications. By teaching the National Coalition of Certification Centers (NC3) programs and certifications, I help students earn credentials that open doors to meaningful careers in manufacturing, construction, and other skilled trades. I strive to make the shop a safe and supportive environment where students learn not only precision and safety, but also perseverance and pride in their work. My goal is to ensure every student leaves my classroom with both the technical skills and the self-belief needed to succeed beyond graduation.
