Interest Based Learning

Formerly known as Project Based Learning

In Interest Based Learning (IBL), you will work independently on research papers about topics that are of interest to you. For many students, Individualized Reading credit is partnered with IBL as students read a library book of their choice.

This is a great opportunity for students who can work independently in a quiet environment.

Quarter credits (0.25 credits) can be earned in the following subject areas:

English
Social Studies
Physical Education
Science
Elective

I traded spreadsheets for second chances.  With a Master's degree in School Counseling and a math degree in my pocket, I now teach life skills and processes to at-risk high schoolers...turning "I can't" into diplomas, one goal at a time.
